Mother's Day 2024
Happy Mother’s Day…
To my beautiful mom who loves us all so well, gave us a childhood full of love and so many memories and is the best caretaker while also being the life of the party!
My beautiful sister who is courageously fighting cancer with a smile, positive attitude and determination while also mothering her two daughters so well.
To my beautiful mother-in-law who welcomed me into her family the day I met her, spends countless hours on the rodeo bleachers and loves her grandkids so well.
To my aunts and sisters-in-laws and all the other women in our lives who act as mothers… and the grandmothers and mothers we wish were still here.
And to my girls for making me a mother :) That first photo is what Francie posted on her Instagram story for Mother’s Day and I just love it so much.
The girls get along pretty well most of the time (I think it helps they are responsible for so many animals that they have to take care of together!) but when they bicker or fight like all siblings do, I try to remind them to be kind to each other because their sisters will always be their best friends for life. They see that everyday when I call my sister at least 3 times a day and text her every other hour (and we are 8 years apart in age!)
I also remind them that when they’re older and their dear old mom (me) is bugging them too much or making too many life suggestions - they’ll be lucky that they get to call each other and talk about it and laugh… not that Ann and I EVER do that Jannie! ;)
