We are so excited to share our Five Marys Wellness line with you! Our tallow products are sourced from our very own Five Marys beef cattle - raised right here on our ranch in Northern California, then harvested and processed at our custom USDA butchery.
With only the highest quality inputs and care, you can feel confident about what you put on your skin, in your food, and in your home… from our family to yours.

We started Five Marys Wellness with a mission of "whole animal use." Our goal is to utilize every part of the animal, from traditional cuts to organs, bones, and fat, promoting sustainability and respect for the animal. With our custom USDA butchery and skilled butchers who focus on one animal at a time, we are so proud to achieve this!
In addition to our commitment to sustainability, we (of course) want the highest-quality skincare and wellness products for our family… four teenage daughters over here! With that in mind, we began experimenting with natural skincare, and we are thrilled to be able to share the high-quality wellness products we’ve created
with you and your family.

Key Benefits of Beef Tallow
Deeply Moisturizing The fatty acids in tallow closely resemble the natural oils (sebum) produced by our skin, allowing it to deeply hydrate and reduce dryness.
Supports Skin Barrier The fatty acids in beef tallow hydrate the skin, reduce inflammation, and protect the skin from our everyday environments.
Rich in Vitamins and Nutrients Packed with soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K that nourish our largest organ… the skin!
Gentle and Soothing Pure tallow is ‘bioavailable’ since it’s an animal protein and not from plants; making it super compatible with our skin’s natural structure.
Non-Comedogenic Beef tallow hydrates the skin without clogging pores. The chemical makeup of high-quality tallow is similar to our own skin’s DNA.
Supports Collagen Production Beef tallow is an animal protein that contains vitamins and fatty acids which may support collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and reduce wrinkles.
Anti-Inflammatory Contains conjulated linoleic acid (CLA) which has anti-inflammatory properties; beneficial for eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.
Antimicrobial Properties The fatty acids in beef tallow can help fight bacteria and fungi and reduce the appearance of acne and acne scars.
Sustainable and Ethical Five Marys beef tallow is sourced directly from the cows raised on our ranch, making it a renewable, biodegradable, and ethically sourced ingredient.

THE WELLNESS
KITCHEN
Welcome to the Wellness Kitchen! This gorgeous space (with stunning views of Mt. Shasta) is where all of our Five Marys Wellness products are made… just a short drive over the mountain from our ranch!
We’ve teamed up with another local business, Pastures of Grace, to work together to help fulfill their mission of rehabilitating young women and mothers with life and business skills to restore their family. These awesome women will be joining us in the kitchen every month to learn how to make, label and package wellness products.
