Rookie of the Year!

Tessa won Rookie of the Year for the whole rodeo season! We had a great junior high finals rodeo this past weekend. The kids’ points from the whole year cumulatively count to earn a place at State Finals and we get to give them awards for the season.

Rookie of the Year goes to a contestant in their first year of rodeo with the most points… Tessa has been working towards this very competitive goal all year and she did it. We are all SO proud of her :)

JJ also had a great season and made it to State in Team Roping - an impressive feat! She got some really nice awards too but she was off and running with friends before I could get a photo. Francie won barrels the first-go and Maisie placed 3rd the second-go, putting them neck and neck for their final high school rodeo in two weeks.
