Jess Thomson authored the story - she is my right hand gal during all of my cookbook shoots and recipe testings. She is such a talented writer and I'm so excited about this new project together. It might make you tear up… it sure did for me.

The incredible watercolor illustrations are painted by Sara Jo Floyd. Sara's daughter, Ellie Pearl, was born without eyes just like Proud Mary, but thanks to kindness - both get to live a beautiful life.
